Bee Stitch Mastered!
I grabbed another ball of yarn and was determined to get this stitch right. Here is my pretty new dish cloth.
This is called the Bee Stitch Cloth and can be found here. I used Peaches and Cream 100% cotton in the colorway of Potpourri #178 using #7 needles. I LOVE this stitch. Hope you like the results too.

Your bee stitch cloth is beautiful. I haven't tried that one yet, but I have the pattern saved to knit someday.
Thanks for the nice comments on my blog. You asked about the yarn and pattern for the round cloth in my latest entry. The yarn is S&C Playtime and the pattern is Rhonda K. White's Knitted Round Lacy Cloth; as you suspected.
The pattern is here:

Knit on and enjoy every minute!
I have printed off the bee stitch pattern several times. But unlike "tea", that doesn't mean I will not have to print it again before I knit it.
I knit a couple of ball band dishcloths thinking they were just sooo beautiful. Then I turned them over and looked at the ugliness of the back side of them. That turned me off the ball band pattern completely. (Maybe they would be OK to knit up as a purse though.)
Then I knit one or two cloths in the DW (Darren Waltrip?) pattern. And decided I should perhaps try the bee stitch pattern.
But I got sidetracked knitting the Lionbrand free dishcloth pattern - with two yarns.
And it is to die for! (I got the two colour variation from someone's knitting blog.)
Two rows of a solid colour yarn are knit stitch all across the row. The next two rows - with a variegated yarn - are K2, then K1, P1 to the last two stitches, then K2.
Then it's back to the solid colour for two rows of straight knitting. And then the variegated rows again of the K1,P1. Etc. Etc.
Ending with two rows of solid colour knitting.
So I haven't quite got at knitting the bee stitch cloth just yet.
Happy knitting,
Janey
