Ditty's scarf

This scarf was made for Tom's cousin, Ditty. The yarn is mohair from his late grandmother's stash. It is a bulky weight yarn. I had quite a few balls of both light and dark purple. For this scarf I used size 10.5 needles to get the open airy look. I casted on about 150-160 stitches and joined in the round. I knitted until I ran out of color. I had my knitting friend Loretta block it for me. It likes to curl. I will be giving this to Ditty on our next visit to Sonoma.
